"A safe place to heard"
Therapy is a place for you to be heard in a safe, non-judgemental way; this is the grounding for our work.
I combine psychodynamic theory with the “here and now” reflecting on how childhood/early life experience may be a root cause to negative thoughts or behaviour, looking back to see a way forward, if you will.
Talking through some of the obstacles or stuff getting in your way can be an enormously freeing and empowering experience. My approach is one of calm, compassion and care and I hope for you, energising and rewarding.
“Katriona was warm, understanding and had great insight into why I was feeling the way I was. I felt so comfortable from the get-go we built a strong level of trust, and that has let me open up in ways I previously haven’t wanted to.”
I am a qualified Integrative therapist in London, working in a relational way. This allows me to combine psychotherapeutic practices tailored to your current situation.
Together we would make sense of challenging situations and behaviours that may be holding you back, working on coping strategies, building resilience and awareness, making shifts towards how you want to be in yourself.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy. Read more about me.
